Lease extension for Athlon in Machelen

In July 2023, we received a Request for Proposal (RFP) from Athlon, a leading player in remarketing and short-term vehicle rental, to assist them in their search for a suitable location for their operations.

After comparing several brokers, Athlon decided at the end of 2023 to entrust this assignment to Structura.biz. Thanks to a thorough market analysis and the use of our network, we compiled a comprehensive longlist of available options—both current and future—that matched Athlon’s specific needs.

In close collaboration with Athlon, this list was refined into a relevant shortlist. We organized visits to the selected properties and conducted negotiations with the various owners.

At the same time, we also contacted the current owner of their site in Machelen, Heylen Warehouses. Ultimately, an agreement was reached with them for a lease extension.

This project was successfully completed with final approval of the agreement by Mercedes-Benz, Athlon’s parent company, at the end of 2024.
