GALLER, MUCH MORE THAN CHOCOLATE!

A new Galler store will soon open in Sint-Pieters-Woluwe, installed by Bureau Gerard by Structura.biz. Today, on World Chocolate Day, we spoke with the new owner about the wonderful world of chocolate.

How did you get into chocolate?
Chocolate is my passion!
Fifteen years ago, I worked for Galler. I was back in Belgium after living in Switzerland for three years. I started working as a manager of their store in Uccle.
After that, I briefly branched out into the financial sector, but today the time has come to return to my true passion.

Why do you enjoy working with Galler so much?
There are several reasons for this. Firstly, Galler pays close attention to the quality and diversity of their products. Moreover, production is still artisanal and takes place in Belgium, near Liège. Furthermore, Galler prioritizes innovation and ethics. For example, they support charities like the League Against Multiple Sclerosis and are part of the Quality Partner Program, which supports cocoa farmers.
It’s clear that I have great admiration for Jean Galler and the journey he has made since 1976. For me, he is the perfect example of authentic Belgian craftsmanship.
And of course, we can’t forget the collaboration with Philippe Geluck. De Chocolade van de Kat is delicious and fun!

When does the store open?
The new store will open in early October on Kerkstraat in Woluwe. All those with a sweet tooth are welcome from Monday to Saturday.
